The Lower Building was the school on Sointula, until the school moved to its current location. This is a multi-purpose building, and hosts Thrift Store on the lower level, as well as the Sointula branch of the Vancouver Island Regional Library, and the Sointula Museum on the upper level. There is also a meeting space on the upper level, fondly called the Dance Studio. The whole building is wheelchair accessible, and there is a washroom on the upper level, between the library and museum. The Dance Studio can be rented out.
