ABOUT
Over 50 years strong!
Sointula Recreation Association was established in 1972, to facilitate a swimming pool and the museum. Over 50 years later, we’re still going strong, and have added several buildings, as well as a trail, the ballpark, children’s parks, The Teen Centre, Thrift Store, and Big Lake Swimming Area to our repertoire. We also host and organize events for the enjoyment of the residents of Malcolm Island.

Ideas and Volunteering
The Sointula Recreation Association is operated by volunteers and relies heavily on volunteer work to make things happen. We’re always open to ideas for community events. If you have an idea, or would like to volunteer, please contact us.
