What We Do
Sointula Recreation Association is a Non-Profit Organization, devoted to management and maintenance of Malcolm Island’s trails and recreation areas, as well as the various multi-purpose buildings located in Sointula. The SRA also oversees and organizes ongoing events, such as Teen and Tween Nights and Craft Night, as well as annual events, such as the May Long Weekend Ball Tournament, Turkey Bingo and Winterfestival. Sointula Recreation Association is run by volunteers, for the betterment and enrichment of the residents of Sointula and Malcolm Island. For More Information about what we do, see our about page.
The Thrift Store
Sointula’s Thrift Store is managed by the Sointula Recreation Association. Currently open on Saturdays, there are lots of treasures to be found. For more information about the Thrift Store, please click here.
Volunteering
The Sointula Recreation Association is always on the lookout for volunteers for various events, cleaning parties, helping in the Thrift Store and trail maintenance. If you would like to volunteer, or have an idea for a community event, please contact us.
